1. Schedule your Invisalign® consultation
One of our certified Invisalign® dentists will assess your teeth to determine if Invisalign® is suitable for you. We will conduct a comprehensive evaluation, including taking a 3D image of your teeth, photographs, and necessary x-rays to assess your teeth's health and underlying bone structure. Subsequently, we will address any queries you may have regarding your treatment before you make a commitment. Utilizing our iTero scanner, we will digitally capture a detailed 3D model of your teeth and gums. This process is not only more comfortable than traditional impressions but also quicker and offers superior clinical advantages. Within minutes, we will generate a 3D model of your mouth, allowing us to demonstrate the potential outcome of your new smile. Ultimately, the decision to commence your Invisalign® treatment rests with you.
2. Schedule an attachment appointment
During this appointment, we will affix attachments (small white fillings) to the surfaces of your teeth to aid in facilitating teeth movement. Following the placement of these attachments, your dentist will ensure that the trays provided by the Invisalign® company fit your teeth accurately. We will also provide guidance on what to do and what to avoid while wearing the aligners.
3. Simply wear your aligners
It is essential to wear your aligners consistently, ideally for approximately 22 hours each day. Remove them only for eating, brushing, and flossing. Invisalign® treatment relies on consistent wear of the trays, so adherence to wearing them as directed by our dentists is crucial for achieving successful results.
4. Wear your retainers
Once you are satisfied with the results, we will provide you with clear retainers that you must wear to maintain the straightness of your teeth and prevent them from shifting again.
